Removable/adjustable cheek riser options (that don't block access to chamber)

I've got a scope with a 50mm objective I just mounted on a 20MOA base with TPS low rings. This setup raises the scope much higher than my stock. The objective is at least a quarter inch off the bore.

I'm using a HS Precision Composite stock from a Remington 700 5R. I needed to raise my comb, so I used a Scope Eez stick-on cheek rest (5/8" to 1").

Got through the whole process only to realize, like an idiot, that the Scope Eez won't allow me to get a bore guide in, nor will I be able to insert a cleaning rod straight in, even without the bore guide. I can work the action just fine.

Any suggestions on add-on cheek risers that are either adjustable or removable so I can get access to clean my barrel? I need an inch of additional height.

I'll post a photo of the rifle tomorrow for a point of reference.

    KMW adjustable cheekpiece hardware.
You will have to cut the stock, and inlet to install it.

Thanks, Randall! Any less destructive solutions? If possible, I'd like to keep the drilling and cutting to this stock to a minimum. I'm considering the Karsten cheek pieces because the modification to the stock is minimal.

The only other option I can think of is a strap-on cheekpad, or a Beartooth kit, but I can't imagine those are very stable or consistent.

Triad Tactical Stock packs are my favorite, I LOVE THEM. Buy Once, Cry once, Made in AMERICA, and they are very strong. Plus you get storage and they are comfortable

I will look into both, guys. What do you guys typically use as spacer material to build up a riser? Something I can pick up at Home Depot or something? I was thinking that cutting up a pool noodle might work, since I need a whole inch of height.

Layers of cardboard are really solid.
Otherwise, foam pipe insulation or a piece of pool noodle will work.

look at the blackhawk hawktek cheek riser. I have it on all my rifles. Provides padding and it is adjustable. You can buy additional foam if you need for height. Look for them in Amazon or ebay

Yep I have used both cardboard and foam with duct tape to good effect.

You could also get a kydex riser like this:

Pretty easy to make one like the Karsten, I think the kydex and hardware for mine was around $15.

That's nothing, grow a set of cheekbones. That's what I did.
