question about length legality

i am thinking of picking up a remington 700 SPS tactical with the 16.5 inch barrel. i know the overall length requirement is 26 inches. but i want to put a blackhawk axiom stock on it. it has a pistol grip and telescoping stock. from my rough calc, with that stock the overall length will be about 35.5 inches long with the stock fully collapsed.

my question is with this stock and this length, am i good to go? also if it makes a difference may want to add a mag system rather than drop plate internal mag box.

what i figured..but wasn't sure with the pistol grip stock.

Pistol grips don't come into play legally on bolt actions, pump actions, lever actions or single shots.
Only semi-auto rifles need be concerned with pistol grips.
