A customer just brought in a Remington Mohawk 600 in .17 rem, has anyone heard of this caliper? Remington shows it in .223 as the small round up to .308. Any help

IIRC even the .223 was a rarity. Or maybe it was the .222 that was made in miniscule numbers.

I bet it was rebarreled at some point due to lack of factory barrel markingA 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

If the barrels not marked it's been re barreled. Fun cartridge, I've owned a few. VERY flat shooting and fairly quiet.Comment
