BRNO VZ 24 in .243 pricing

Hi. I'm looking at one of these to purchase, and my BBofGV doesn't seem to nail this down. It has a sporting Mannlicher stock, knobbed bolt handle, single set trigger, .243 Win cal., has VZ 24 stamped on the receiver and 98 on the barrel next to the .243 W. What I assume is that this is BRNO's version of a sporting rifle under CZ control that is a medium action that used a reconditioned or surplus Mauser '98 military action, like the 8 mm. The wood figuring is quite nice, and the asking price is $1500 with a detachable $450 Meopta scope on it, but it still has the iron sights. The condition is quite nice, 90% or better. Does this seem a reasonable price or is it high?

Unless is was sporterized by a reputable shop, it's way over priced.
