Weatherby Vanguard Stock Question

I love the Vanguard S2 stock on my S2 rifle and have a Vanguard S1 rifle but the factory stock I loathe. Are the S1 and S2 stocks interchangeable so that if I were to buy a Series 2 stock I could directly fit it to my Series 1 vanguard without any gun-smithing?

That Series 2 stock is pretty sweet. It's way, way better than the old style/Series 1. To answer your question, yes, the Series 2 stock will fit on the old Series 1 barreled actions.

The Vanguard is probably one of the most underrated bolt action rifles out there on the market these days. I've had a few, and they all shoot really well.

I took my S1 and put a hogue overmolded stock with aluminum bedding block, dreamers out the tang and bedded it, shoots like a dang laser
