    MOA Trigger sucks tennis balls!!!!!

    Folks,

Ordered a Timney for my Model 70 Featherweight, the MOA trigger sucks. Heavy pull, some creep. Hope the Timney makes a difference. Should be here 8/22/2014. A2

      Awful.

      Teg,

It is one of the worst triggers I have ever worked with. The 2 stage on my Ruger M77 Predator is a 2 stage and sweet as can be. The MOA is heavy, creeps, and really destroys accuracy. It is not so bad on my Stealth or Coyote Light, but the Feather Weight is so light it feels every movement. A2

That looks like it would make a terrible trigger.

You can have problems with any trigger.

The Jewell in the picture had a side plate screw fall out the one Bix-Andy had a broken hangar pin and the other had the trigger shoe pin fall out.

No matter which trigger you get or how much you spend they can all use a little polishing. You can get some 1000 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper and some diamond paste plus a small piece of glass, Take one side plate off at a time and sand the plate with the 1000 and 1500 grit sandpaper taped to the glass and some water. You will see it polishing up the area around each screw hole. Now put some diamond paste on the 2000 grit sandpaper and do a figure 8 pattern 70-100 times then flush with lighter fluid.
You can do the same thing with the rest of the internal parts.
When you get it re-assembled put some fingernail polish on every screw.
