Condition is king of course but it also depends on a few other things:
Has it been modified, i.e. Recoil pad added, drilled for receiver site or scope mounts?
What generation is it? Values vary for Pre-WWII, 1950's, 1960's (Pre-WWII guns were not D&T'ed for scopes)
What model is it? Standard, Super Grade Featherweight, National Match, Gopher Special, Carbine, etc.Frank
One rifle, one planet, Holland's 375

Though the pre 64 is more desirable action to build a custom rifle on or collect:
The new younger shooters/hunters have limited knowledge of its existence, its mark made in target shooting history, or do not care for its possible tactical usage.
This leaves a older dwindling pool of collectors already stocked up with pristine and or collectable models unable to sell to the new younger shooters who want tacticool rifles.
We older shooters/collectors all know they are worth a minimum of $900 in pristine condition but youll be hard pressed to find someone to pay that amount so bide your time and do not plan on rushing the sale.Comment
