Rifle Steel shoots this coming weekend

Gonzales (Swiss Rifle Club) silhouette rifle (center fire 40 shots, and smallbore 22LR 60 shots) matches.
1st Sat of every month 200/300/385/500 meters offhand or shot off the bench with front/rear rest (Varmint Class), Iron sight or scope classes and need three in a class for an award.
C & R Mil-Surp rifles welcome for offhand or bench classes.
Small-bore starts at 8:30, high-power starts around 10:00-10:30 for sight in, Match starts at 11:00, shot at the (Swiss Rifle Club) in Gonzales.

Congrats to 6mmintl for the big win at Chabot 200 M silhouette in Iron Sight class, shooting a Sharps Borchardt in 32-40. Works better when you get the right bullet, eh?

For those thinking about attending these matches, they are a ton of fun.
Don't worry about having the right equipment, just show up with a center fire rifle and "run what ya brung". The only problem is after a couple of matches, you may be out looking for another rifle for this course of fire.
