They make mag conversions for Remington 700's.

Do you know of one that takes AR mags? All the ones I've seen either use AICS-compatible or something proprietary.

The issue with using AR mags in tyical bolt actions is that the mags don't clear the underside of the action.
The MVP solved that in an odd way with the little part that tilts down from the bolt body to feed the top cartridge off of the mag.

Without that specific feature in the bolt, you need to get the magazine further up into the action.
That generally means you have to cut away some metal from the bottom of the action for the mag to get further up.

                From the link above:
Gunsmith assembly highly recommended as minor milling of the actions rail's and a slight modification to the stock are required

A significant amount of metal would have to be removed to fit a 308 AR mag into the bottom of most bolt action receivers.

This did require significant metal removal from the receiver, as Rausch said. So it cannot go back to regular box feed. The tolerance between the bolt passing through the feed lips and totally missing the rounds is not much... perhaps a .015" window. And it wont work with every AR mag. All metal feed lips are good. Polymer feed lips are too thick, but can be trimmed to work with it.

Cool idea, but not super practical. I only did it because I was challenged to do so by a paying customer.

Looking at the MVP bolt above, you ought to get one of those little pieces from mossberg and see if it's practical to mod the 700 bolt to have that little tilting piece on the front of it.
It gives you another 0.060" to 0.075" of cartridge engagement.
If the gun ever comes back for work, that woubd be something to attempt...

The 308 MVP bolt I looked at didn't have the little flap. You might be able to add on those little nubs for a 308 conversion (not familiar enough with the 700 action to call one way or the other)

mvp 308 bolt from google images:
In order to have those fixed nubs on the bolt, the whole receiver wold have to have the channels cut into it for the bolt to slide in the receiver.
The little hinged flap works on the 223 mvp because it pops up ad slides through the round receiver bore.
If those nubs are fixed on the bolt head, the 308 mvp receiver must have grooves that they slide in.

Well it's not a bolt but it's a pump. I have personally held one but never shot one. They are nice looking guns tho.

                              The 7615 had accuracy "issues".
