My Remington 700 will not feed the second round. It loads the first fine. It ejects it fine, but then the second round will not move up, and the bolt goes right over it. I have to push it out a little by hand, then the bolt will catch it. The other two round cycle just fine. Any one else have that issue? At a loss. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the magazine box is bound up. Open the bottom metal, and see if the internal magazine box moves around a bit. If it does, then inspect it for wear to see if the follower is catching somewhere. -
Is the magazine box lined up with the cutout in the action? Sounds like it is too far back and the bolt isn't retracting far enough to catch the back of the cartridge. As norcal suggested, look for binding in the mag box, but I'm thinking between the mag box and action. So Cal Precision Rifle Team, NRA Life, WEGC Precision Bolt Rifle Director, NRL Member, Bolt Action Rifle Groupie, NRA Pistol Distinguished ExpertComment

I have had this issue as well, had to tweak the mag spring/follower to prevent shell nose dive. Much better...Comment
