I was probably going to try out the LSS chassis from MDT. But thanks for the link, good to know this exists.

I'll wind up getting the MDT chassis unless Boyd decides to make this in left hand... and I'd bet against that.

I have enough problems keeping my thumb out of the way of the razor-sharp rear bolt surfaces with the standard Varmint stock. I was hoping to see someone like Boyd's make a lefty thumbhole stock, that would keep my appendages unsliced as the "standard" Boyd's stock certainly would not.

Those wood stocks Mossberg is using are made by a sub contractor. Somebody on the Mossberg forum tracked down the manufacturer. Got them to sell a replacement.

After reading the spces and measuring my MVP Varmint
I don't believe it will work with my rifle.
I'll wait and see what others find out.

MVP Varmint in Prairie Hunter stock. Had to open the barrel channel a little other than that perfect fit.
