Yea, I know...wrong forum, but since there are some long range/FClass/FTR guys here, I figure I share this...

EuroOptic has demo versions of their 2014 NF competition model!
I feel like I just found $400 in my pocket!

are there any issues to be aware of with demo versions? The one I have apparently has not seen the field and was only for trade shows/indoor shows.

Nightforce warranties it forever if there are any issues. It is the same scope we use on the U.S. Team. I have mostly used it on 20x and it works quite well.

Looks like it might be their 2013 model. You can get the 2013 model for 1650-1750

The FCR-1 reticle is pretty nice. If you do get it please do a review on it. With upgraded glass I'm curious how the image compare to other high end scopes.

It would be awesome to test the competition model vs a March scope side by side.

went with the FCR-1. it has a nice, fine line and looks more like my other scopes so my eye is used to seeing this type of reticle

i read on accurateshooter that some argued with glass on the NF comp is a little better...but everyone is an individual.

haha. my spotting scope is a barska and i love that thing. best $40 dollars i spent at big 5 and dont feel worried about thrashing the thing. although, this new scope will almost match the magnification on my spotting scope. lol.

I love the NF scopes I've had.
See pasters at 600 when it's cold and still.

Only neg I've heard about the Comp is the eye-relief due to the smaller 52mm objective.

I'm sure it'll serve you well.

you will hate it.

you'll only be able to power up to 55 when it's cold and overcast. And if theres any wind, the magnified particulate matter in the air will white out your site picture... make it look like an old fashioned TV set when you could not get a signal
