Need help identifying rifle....

Hello there. I purchased parts of a lever-action rifle long ago in a gun show and have now begun to assemble it. It is missing the barrel. Been looking for it in google and for the love of God, I can't seem to identify what I have here. The only markers it has are a serial number 168329; an H with a circle around it and a SVG(C?) insignia on the buttstock. Please help?!?

Savage 99 can be pretty collectable depending on year,caliber,take down or fixed design.

Savage 99 made in 1915.
I can't tell from the pics if it was a takedown model. Can you post one of the front of the receiver?
It's important to know if it is, and what the original caliber was, "before" you go barrel shopping.
