I decided that hitting steel at 200 yards was difficult as the front sight obliterated the steel gong....
I have been somewhat reluctant to go this route as I am not sold on the visual...
The gun: 16" SS Rossi 44 Magnum Carbine
The scope: Burris Scout Scope, 1" tube, 2.75 Magnification
Mounts: Warner QD Rings, Rossi rail...
Scope, rings and rail all from Amazon...
I did zero the scope without much ado.... Only hit the gong once as the round knocked it over...that's a 6" circle @ 100 yards.


The reticle looks canted in the photo but that is trying to get a decent shot of the scope picture, camera in one hand, rifle in the other...
