Some weird internal policy is probably to blame. Find another vendor.

ETA: I don't see anything on that page that says this item is restricted. Have you tried placing an order?

I think those are just a blanket statements that 'some' of the items they sell are restricted. The bipod itself would not be one of those items. try to add to cart and order?

I was just thinking that. It says "restricted items can not be shipped to blah blah" but doesn't say that the bipod is restricted.
The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

Kind of like trying to buy arrow heads from Sportsmans Guide.
They will sell Calif's arrows, but not the arrow heads. At least the one'sI tried to buy.Talon's
          Just saying.Some corporate policy maybe.
I do not buy from the Guide now.Anything.
Optics planet sells Harris bipods I believe.Free shipping over $30 order is hard to beat.

Vendors are very wary of the arcane laws related to "firearms" across the country.

They just don't want to even come close to getting in trouble and would rather miss out on the business than to possibly run afoul of the law.

Bipods are nearly as dangerous as shoulder things that go up. Bipods belong on weapons of war, not on our streets. If not selling bipods in CA can save just one life, it is worth it. It is for the children!!

yeah it doesn't specifically state the bipod is a restricted item. just says to know your local laws before ordering.

F- Amazon. Get it from one of the vendors here and support those who support us.

There are plenty of good vendors on this forum. I've seen Exile Machine posts their support on here and although I never bought from them before, I will look them up next time I need something. ShortActionPrecision.com is another one I buy from frequently...

It's okay. I am not aware of the need to jump through hoops for a CA compliant bipod--YET. Get 'em while you can!

Although, if you have a featureless semi without a fixed magazine, I suppose it's possible for a moron to consider it a forward grip...
