    Taurus Pump action

I currently do not live in CA but I am moving there in the near future.

I have an STI Spartan III for sale and I was just offered a Taurus Thunderbolt 357/38spl pump action rifle. It has a tube magazine that holds 14 rounds. Is that legal in california? Also, if it is not legal, is there any way I could make it legal without spending half the guns value at a smith?

I don't have the code off the top of my head but believe tube mags are exempted from the 10 round limit. Also, I too thought these Taurus pump guns looked like a great rifle, my FFL/gunsmith dissuaded me from buying one saying that the three he had sold all had to go back for repairs at least once. just food for thought if you hadn't gone through with the trade. I'm sure a google search would lead you to if the issues are common or not.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.
