    I would go with a solid bottom action to hang a 30" truck axle on it.
    It's stiffer.
    You don't benefit in F class by having a magazine.

    Go with the big BAT action with the sleeve that sticks forward of the barrel's torque shoulder.
    That way, you bed the receiver and not the barrel.

      If you're contemplating a single shot action for f-open, another action to look at is the Barnard dropped into an Eliseo chassis. There's no bedding to mess with at all and the ergonomics are similar to an AR space gun if you're already used to that platform.

      I was able to adapt my Palma rifle pretty easily for f-class work. Once you step into the realm of high end boutique actions, you're really just shopping for the features and options that appeal to you.
