A custom Mosin to me is taking it apart and cleaning out the cosmo.
Take bolt out, disassemble, and clean out cosmo.

Started with a beater 91/30 Chopped it down to 13 " and had a AMD-65 4"comp threaded, pinned and welded. Boyd stock was pillared and bedded, Timney trigger and a Rock Solid Scope Mount. Absolutely love the way it shoots.

12GA your Mosin is awesome! I'm not usually a fan of bubba but wouldn't mind owning yours. I suppose if you have to bubba a C&R, let it be a common wartime 91/30.

Thanks, It really was a beater that some one already cut down a few inches, I just had another vision for it. It is so much fun to shoot. Last couple trips out I shot it more then anything else. The trigger just snaps nice and clean and is very accurate out to 100 yards. I destroyed my .22 spinner steel target I have not really tried to sight it out any farther. Next trip I will take it to a range.

I put the same type of stock on my 91/30 but didn't cut or change anything to do it. Kept the old wood; so I don't consider it a full bubba. Pretty darn long though. Hardly fits in my safe.

I like, now I need a new stock, timney trigger and scope base.

I fully bubba-ed mine. I'll post some pics later. Chopped the barrel, turned the bolt, scoped, and finished a relaminated stock.

If I want to spend 5x as much on a rifle as what I paid for it, I'll buy a 10/22.

Especially when it won't shoot any better

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Mosin Nagant built by me. I just shot 1.59" group at 100 yds with Bulgarian surplus with the wind at 15-17 mph.

Can someone make a pump action Mosin? I love my AK Variant pump. Par1.

Check out this video. Pretty cool.
