New Sig Sauer SSG 3000 Setup

Just finished my new Sig build:

It's a Sig Sauer SSG 3000 24" Patrol .308 with a Burris 4-16x50mm Eliminator III scope and a Harris Swivel Bipod

I've taken her to the range twice so far and I'm very impressed with it's accuracy even at long distance...

Would like to know how you like the Burris Eliminator III? I am toying with the idea of getting the 3x-12x for my PTR 91.

ftbt - I really like the Burris scope. Great glass, very sharp optics - built in rangefinder is super accurate and I love that it sets and moves the red dot for you!

Pthfndr - IMO you can never be to safe...

Nice setup. What bullet weight are you shooting?

Have you tried 175 or 178 grain yet? I am curious to hear if this rifle "prefers" 168 or 175 grains.

+1... I've thought about getting one several times too... don't hear much about them, so I've been concerned about the gimmick factor...

Thanks. The build quality is great and the scope itself is very light. I was able to see the staples holding up the target in great detail at 100 yards
