You can say it if somebody asks. So how much does a nice rig like that run? Have you shot it yet? Will there be a range report coming soon?

Just over $3K for components (not including scope and rings) and smithing. I have 3 weeks to break it in and do load development before the Apr12-13 clinics in Sac. Going to be at the range this weekend, next weekend...hell every weekend for the next 4 weeks I'll update on how she shoots

Threaded and blended. Apparently, if I take the brake off, you will see a small line where the brake the barrel meet. If I keep it on, it'll look like it was part of the barrel.

Very nice. That build sheet is almost the same as mine. Getting mine built this weekend by Randall (AR15barrels) and then take it to the CAPRC clinic next weekend where I will probably shoot it for the first time with the builder looking over my shoulder...

If you don't mind, what is the height of your rings? I got the G2DMR and the same barrel profile as you and just wondering where my scope will fall height wise.

                  Thanks.

Bought these ones. I got this one because I am not sure if I'll be going with a thicker barrel if/when I decide to re-barrel. You could probably go with the 1" high ones. I have a rem varmint profile barrel

Thanks much. I currently have TPS 34mm extra lows at .950". Also got the Rem Varmint profile Bartlein. In the future after I shoot this one out I'll probably go for a medium palma profile which should still work with these rings.

I'm still debating whether to go with 24" or 26" barrel. I'll be using the Mini FTE brake. The last CAPRC clinic shoots out to 1200 yrds and the extra 2" worth of velocity can be useful...

Beautiful rifle! Now go find some H4350 powder!

I bought one of those inverters and thats been working for her..hell I even use it once in a while . She also has bi-weekly chiropractor visits that insurance is now paying after complaining about it to the insurance company that it is preventative sessions. The big thing that jacked us was the MRI ($850) out of pocket and the 4 specialist visits @ $50 a pop. THEN!!!....I got a separate bill on top of the co-pay for $495 total. I dont understand how I pay almost $300+ a paycheck to insurance, then get slapped with over $1500 in medical out of pocket...worst part, it happened towards the end of last year, so it doesnt count towards our deductible for 2014!

                              okay....im off my soapbox...
