    LH 762x39 Bolt Guns?

Looking for a left handed bolt gun in 7.62x39

I know Zastava makes them in the M85 model, but no one seems to have one in stock. I heard (but haven't seen) that the Savage Scout was made in 7.62x39 with a LH available by custom order.

    Does anyone else make them?

Also, anyone have luck actually finding someone who has some in stock?

Like I said over on AR.

Savage will put one together for you from the special order desk, Call Effie at Savage she was doing the special orders a couple of years ago.

www.Savageshooters.com can get you the phone number and information.

Based on custom shop prices I've seen in the
past (not cheap), I'd be inclined to give Jim Briggs @
Northland Shooters Supply a call and see what he
could put together for you. Worst case, you're out a few minutes
of your life and a phone call.

You may or may not spend a little more initially but, you would most likely end up with a Criterion custom barreled rifle vs. a Savage factory barrel. I have three Savages and know they are generally no slouches but, I will take a custom barreled rifle over factory any day.

For a knock around brush gun to bring backpacking with me, I don't see the sense in having one smith'd up. But thanks for the heads up, and I've bookmarked his website for future reference.
