    Winchester 1892 question

Thinking of a new 1892 from Winchester as my first lever gun.

The new ones have the tang safety. I'm wanting to install a Marbles tang mounted peep sight. It appears these are compatible, but I can't find any definitive information.

Anyone know if it will work?

Thanks. How does it work with the tang safety? From looking at photos of the safety location and the short tang, it looks like it may cover it up.

I cannot recall seeing an 1892 with a tang peep sight. They were never in style for these rifles.

I have an El Tigre 1892 from the 1920's in 44-40 that's a hoot to shoot. I put a Marbles full buckhorn sight on mine.

The Marbles Bullseye looks cool and would have installed it a few years back if it was available.

I've seen them, though it's been a while. If memory serves me right, there is a rectangle cut out on the tail to the tang sight base for the safety.
