Recommended Scope for Savage 110BA?

What's the best scope to go with a 110BA? Pipe dream of right around the $1k mark but hopefully under...

What distances, what are you shooting at, what caliber are you shooting?

Don't go cheap on the glass, if you do, you'll cry twice guaranteed. That rifle will leave inferior glass in ruins eventually.

I went with a Leupold Mark 4 LR/T 6.5-20x50mm (30mm) M1 on my 110BA.

There are certainly better scopes out there but this one will not disappoint. I got mine for around $1,200. There's two reticles you can go with. Not sure if there's an illuminated version. If there is you can add at least a couple hundred to that.

This scope should get you out to the 1,200~1,500 yard range.

Excellent advice. Plus it's been said in other threads... Buy as much glass as you can afford, and don't spend less than $300 typically. If you cannot afford what you really want, then wait and save up.

Check out sightron reviews.I put a 10x50-60mm on my ba and people are amazed at the clarity even a 50x magnification.very positive click for adjustments. And under a grand.

Angeles, so about 600yds for metal targets with a .338 LM.

Looks like the PST is the one I'll probably go with. Lifetime warranty and the $1k sweet spot. Any recommendation on rings?

If you are going to spend over $700 on a scope, try to find one with good japanese glass. I have a hard time paying near $1k for "made in philippines".
I would go Leupold MK4, Sightron SIII, Burris XTR, Bushnell Elite Tactical, Trijicon. Nightforce if you can afford it.

What are the distances you will be shooting at.?Take a look at Millet LRS scope .Not bad price.I bought one for my AR-50 in 416 Barrett.Works really well and clear .Only about 30 rounds so far.Still holding up.They say it s rated fr 50 Bmg.
