    Leather on my baby!!

I just dressed up my marlin 1895 stainless guide gun in some leather and I love the way it feels and looks. I ordered it from Jon at gunstockcovers.com , he is a super cool guy to talk to and does amazing work! Judge for yourself, I know the scope kind of kills the look but it's needed

OP, don't go gettin' all burthurt, people are just having fun with you, that's all.

What is important is what you think, not others.
I think it looks nice but makes the scope look out of place now (combining retro and modern never seems to work for me).
              Jon does nice leatherwork.

Wrap the scope in leather too.

Too much. You're covering up all that wood, man.

It does remind me of some Mexican leather work. I saw a scabbard in Cabo that would go good with that.

I like it, minus the scope but like you said, it's needed...

It looks good, but it's too much for my tastes.

In wouldn't mind a very simple buttstock cover with cartridge loops and simple sling with some extra cartridege loops. Don't like the fringe stuff too much but I dig leather and wood.

Here is some work I did for mine. I did one for a calgunner here too for his wood stocked mossberg.
