Any recommendations for scope rings under 50 bucks?

weaver rings. Simple.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Nothing wrong with Weaver rings and they are dirt cheap.
I take it someone ground off the original ears and welded in the rear hole on your action before adding the rail? If its a one piece rail you should have no problems at all.If its a split rail the Burris rings will correct for any mis-alignment there might be.Lynn Dragoman, Jr.
