Decided On Final Two Base/Ring Selection

I appreciate the help given on a previous thread regarding scope rings and base for a Remington 700P -300WinMag.

I've finally narrowed it down to two selections. The scope I'm mounting on the rifle is a Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x50mm Rifle Scope, G2DMR Reticle (30mm).

I'm just unsure as whether to order the low or medium rings.

Anyway, here are the two selections.

Seekins Precision Scope 30mm Rings + Seekins Precision Picatinny 1 Piece Base Remington 700 Long Action 20 MOA ....or

NightForce ULTRALITE Remington 700 Long-Action 20MOA Direct Mounts (1 piece)

I wonder if the scope bell will clear the barrel while mounted on low rings?

    Thanks.

Seekins makes quality rings and bases, both include a recoil lug.
scope clearance calculator. This will help.

I would go with the 1 piece base.

With that sais, I went with a Bushnell 3.5-21x50 elite tactical G2 reticle and Nightforce High Rings on my 6.5 creedmoor custom build

I am a Seekins fan but, don't think you could go wrong either way.

You will want medium rings with a 50mm obj lens.

Every manufacture is different, Seekins "medium" rings are 0.87" high. Compare to NF rings mediums which are 1.00"

You need to get the scope and measure, or find others with the same combo.
