    Ruger Gunsite price...question

I just got the Big 5 20% coupon and the Gunsite is regularly priced at $879... Which put the price at $700-ish (before taxes and Dros)...
Is this a fair price for the Gunsite (new)?

That seems like a good price, I fired one today, a friend of mine has one and what a great shooting rifle, offhand with the E.E.R scope was a real blast

Think I did the math wrong... $999 is the regular price (20%) and it's 10% off the sale price of $879 (which is really not a Sale price)... Argh!

I paid about $775.00 at Sportsmans Warehouse last year. I see a few on GB for about $735.00. Mid to upper $700.00s seems about right, $879.00 seems a bit high.

What is the IER scope? I thought it was a special model, not Intermediate Eye Relief.

I paid $799 for the SS GSR with the 18" barrel 4 weeks ago so that price seems ok.

Anything under $900 is a good buy with that rifle. Demand is high for them now, and they don't sit too long on a shelf anymore, at least not where I live. My local gun shop matched the Big 5 price because I refuse to buy any firearm from a store managed by teenagers who have never handled a firearm. Not to mention Big 5 is the most expensive physical location to buy ammo from, if they even have anything common in stock. If I had no physical choice but Big 5, I would opt for gun broker.

It doesn't seem, to me anyway, that rifles (especially popular ones) will come down in price in the foreseeable future.
