You'll like it. Don't let the finicky bolt bother you; if it gets off line as it's pressed forward, it tends to bind a little. Mine shoots an honest 1MOA with bulk ammo, an inexpensive 3X9 scope, and a decidedly less-than-expert rifleman behind the trigger. It's good gear.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

It will be a good compliment to my Ruger Scout. Two similar bolt guns in two different calibers. Off to find optics for it.

Now I'm laughing, seeing as how I just bought a Ruger Scout.

save the box until you shoot it. if you get one with a bad magwell, you might want to send it back for repair. my MVP varmint shoots great, but the mag falls out sometimes.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Have a Predator. About the only complaint is that every screw was loose when I received it. Probably was a fluke, but you might want to check yours. Other than that, nice rifle. I think you'll like it.

              What flavor are you getting?

Thanks, Ill be sure the give it a once over before range time. I decided on the standard flavor, with the laminate stock. Thought about the tactical looking version simply for its iron sights, but decided against it. Already picked up a bi-pod and a picitinnay rail. Holding off on the glass pending more research.
