does any one know a shop in socal that has an aics stock that i can hold. i will be getting a new stock for the r700 i just purchased but would like to see how the aics feels before i lay out that much money.

But reconsider your stock choice. AICS are very polar. I just met with Tom Manners last weekend and he will be getting all of my business from here on out. He spent about an hour on a Saturday with me so I could try out a variety of stocks before buying. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

if you dont like the AICS, you can switch skins and make it into an AR-ish platform with the pistol grip.

I second checking out a CAPRC match. Tons of different rifles out there.

Eurooptics is doing 5% off on AICS stock, and their base price is already real good. It's only until 24th though.

WEGC probably has a monthly match in Jan, you can check one out there probably- closer than the CAPRC match.

Supposed to be a PBR match at WEGC on the 19th according to WEGC's calendar.

Bass Pro carries vortex and a few other nicer scopes, but most of this stuff is not sitting on shelves in most retail stores.

You could drive to north san diego and check out "Precision Arms" in Escondido... I dont know what lines they carry now, but were a NF dealer.
