Kimber Mt Ascent vs Weatherby M V

I want to upgrade my hunting rifle. I want it in .308. This is for hogs, deer, and elk. I've already got a Valdada IOR to put on top.

I've narrowed my choices between these two (I think). I know I'm probably splitting hairs but any feedback or experiences with either makes or models would help. Dealing with the factory and customer support isn't listed in the spec's and that would help too.

So, Kimber Mountain Ascent or Weatherby Mark V Accumark RC?

The Weatherby weighs in at 7.25 to 9# depending on caliber the Kimber is just shy of 6# these are not even on the same page, if your thinking Weatherby look at the Mark V ultra light it weighs about. 5.75 to 6.75 again depending on caliber. http://www.weatherby.com/product/rif...rkv/ultralight http://www.kimberamerica.com/rifles/...ountain-ascent

I'm doing research for pillar bedding my Savage when i noticed a couple of the guys who offer Accurizing packages would not guarantee Kimber's. For what it's worth i'd choose the Weatherby.
