Anyone have a Savage Model 12 in 6mmBR?

I'd like to know what the length and diameter of the receiver is because Im curious if I can modify my stock's inlet to fit it. I'd also like to know what the backwards travel of the bolt is when you open it. Reason being is my stock has a tall cheekpiece on it and am wondering if it'll interfere.

If anyone's curious, the stock is this one. It's a smallbore rifle stock, and Id like to build up a highpower/300M style rifle out of it.

Anything CAN be done given enough money and skill. I'm not sure what would be the best way to do that but it might be easier to duplicate the stock and have it fit to your action. 300 meter guns are single shot and highpower guns are repeaters. The 6mmBR would not be a first choice for a repeater.
Even easier would to make up a tube gun repeater http://www.tubegun.net/ maybe in 6XTC or Dasher.

I realize it's a single shot, thats what Im after. The stock above doesnt have a slot for a magazine... I'm a 3P shooter, btw. I don't know highpower rules, didn't know they werent singleshot.

I have the stock, but I need the receiver dimensions and the bolt handle travel distance.. the 300M guns have hinging cheekpieces so you can swing them out of the way because the bolt travels back so long.

300 meter guns are not very popular in the USA. Maybe you can call the US shooting team and get some names of good smiths for this unique work.
