I used to own a Sauer 200 switch barrel in 7mm Rem & 300 Wby.

I topped it with a Leupold 56mm VXL.

It was the best rifle I'll ever own. Extremely accurate with handloads.

With the downturn in the economy it had to go a few years ago.

Maybe in my next lifetime I'll be able to afford another or a Hyme straight pull.

For non-invasive game species, sure, only kill what you need. But for pig - kill em all. A simple google search will show the staistics of how much damage wild pigs have caused.

1) Your target isn't always going to stand still and give you their broad side.
2) Not every shot is going to be an instant kill shot, no matter how good you are.
3) Never assume anything, let alone a round count. What if he had only 2 rounds, was being charged, and missed both shots??? "Have and not need, instead of need and not have".
4) He didn't massacre anything. For all we know, that area was over flowing with boar and he had the tags to use, meaning they could have had a major problem.
5) Passive aggressive insults are childish and bull****.

To sum up, you have to be ready for any kind of situation and judging someone with little to no information on the situation is the exact kind of mindset that Faux Nooz wants their viewers to have. So don't go there.
