    It's a rifle you are supposed to drive to the range and then set down for your shooting sessions.

    Better off to buy a bargain brand hunting rifle. Customizing or changing guns ends up getting real expensive.

      Thanks for the replys I am taking the route of buying a in expensive hunting rifle as the original thought was to be a bench shooter anyhow.

          About the only weight you can shed is to remove the bi pod and replace the stock, with that bull barrel it will still be heavy.

              Buy some weights and start lifting. Cheapest route plus you'll have more muscle mass and live longer.
