Not sure who that is but I haven't had any Alien abduction experiences so I wouldn't know.....no for illegal alien pleasure either.

i can dig it. i have read people warn against bolt on brakes as they can come loose from shooting. 7.62x54r hitting a piece of metal at the end of the barrel is no bueno, but i personally have no experience with bolt on brakes. Stay safe, shoot it and let us know how it goes

There probably various ones out there...... This one is pretty solid and after tightening it I don't think it'll be going anywhere but I'll check every few shots and if it does unscrew I'll make it permanent.
The MB itself cost more than the gun.

Yes, it was much more than average canvas sling. But It's not Russian or Ukrainian, Here's the marking on it.

Yep looks DDR (East German) to me. Those are fairly uncommon, if you plan on using this rifle out hunting or something I'd recommend using a cheap postwar Soviet or reproduction sling, these EG's aren't cheap as you probably know
