I have a 1941 win model 94 that I would like to strip down to give it a good cleaning but i can not find any instructions for such an old model and they are deffenitly not the same as the new ones. Any ideas where I can find out how to do this? Thanks

Be advised, the band screws don't like to go back in. They went in straight at the factory, but that was 72 years ago. Recoil moves things around, as well as wood swelling/contracting, etc.Comment

Thanks for the info, got the manual and it is different as well ( at least it was only $10) but I still need the infoComment

They are easy to disassemble and clean, and free instructions abound, you don't need to pay anyone. You need the right screwdrivers so you don't tear up the screws, and if you do, there are inexpensive replacements for all screws used in the 94. Here's a couple links to get you on your way.
