Mosin Muzzle Brake - Mosin Plus MP91

I need input on this type of Muzzle Brake for Mosin M91/31

Let me know if you have one and provide feedback, pictures.
I am mostly interested in recoil reduction and quality.

    Thanks

I would have to believe it does not work as well as a threaded purpose built brake, bore diameter at end of brake has to be larger/oversize then normal due to brake fitment to various sized barrels.

Cool looking yes, effective at reducing recoil? maybe but believe minimal.

Thanks for the inputs, those are the details I was questioning as well.
Whether there was actual engineering involved in the design or is it something that an average machinist rigged up.

I have shortened and threaded some mosin barrels and fitted them with AMD brakes.
            They work pretty good.

AMD Brakes look pretty cool, how did you go about clocking the thread so that the muzzle sits in the correct position?
