It's already magazine fed
The russians experimented with semi-automatic mosins, there were several designs, and none had much success.Originally posted by GoodEyeSniperMy neighbors think I'm a construction worker named Bruce.
Little do they know that's just my stripper outfit and name.Originally posted by ChopperXI am currently cleaning it and I noticed when I squeeze the snake this white paste like substance comes out. It is magazine fed.... "internal" magazine fed...
I think you mean detachable magazine. Like others said archangel stock.
Semiauto? Sure, you could with enough money, time and machining. But it would barely be a Mosin when you are done with it. More or less a Mosin barrel. As you would need a whole new bolt, receiver, gas system, fcg etc. If there was a way to do it I'm sure mother Russia would have. But they didn't. If you want a semi auto 7.62x54r look into the SVT-40, PSL, VEPR, etc.Comment

Chew on this idea. Pretty cool.
Here is your detachable mag, comes with a stock.

No, see post #5 as this is a far better option.Next to me in the blackness lay my oiled blue steel beauty. The greatest Christmas gift I had ever received, or would ever receive. Gradually, I drifted off to sleep, pringing ducks on the wing and getting off spectacular hip shots.
