Sears Mod 54 lever action .30-30

Got a deal on this 1968 ish Sears model 54 .30-30 lever. These were model 94 win made by Winchester for Sears with there name on it usually sold for $10 less due to cheaper wood no sling swivels . Bore is mint the finish on these era win 94 was bad so the reciever going back to the white . Wood cleaned up nice it’s a straight shooter.

Nice. I have a “Ted Williams” version of the ‘94 as sold through Sears.

Yes the Ted Willams model 100 was the same rifle usually with better wood not positive of the years but I think the Ted Willams were 73-80 . I have an old ad for the Ted Willam’s dated 1975

            That’s it.
Thank you for including the picture. Nowadays, I miss the Sears experience. We would go to the hardware department, and a competent, USA-born, English speaking man in a sport coat would assist us with whatever we needed. He always knew their products, and always what they were designed for. California was a better, less woke Democrat place back then.

Nice rifle. I have a JC Higgins model 45 30-30. A Marlin 336c. Nice shooter. I'd get a model 70 if I ever came across one.
