    I have two Henry's[.357 and .45 Colt], one Winchester 94 in 30-30 and a Marlin 39A. I like lever guns, don't give a hooey who makes 'em, as long as they work as they should. And mine do.

        Depends on caliber, purpose, and budget. For speed in handgun calibers, the 1873 is the most modified but it is limited to lower pressure rounds. The 1892 works with higher pressure rounds. For rifles, again caliber is the major concern. The 94, 1886, 336, are all popular.

        Personally, I have an Winchester 94 in 30-30 and three levers in 44magnum. A Rossi 92, A Marlin JM 1894, and a Miroku/Winchester 1892. For carry, the Rossi is the easiest, for shooting, the Marlin is the most comfortable, and for fit, finish, and function, the Miroku is the best.
