URSA March 15th Match Results
Weather was hot, 85+ degrees, with some tricky wind and lots of sunburned faces.
We only held one match on Sunday. Shooter Jim R qualified for the 3K Match in April with 2 different guns and took the first match easily. Rickyracer87 came in 2nd place.
We started a second match and Rickyracer87 got his qualifying 5th hit on the 10th shot of his qualifying string using Jim R's 338 Lapua Ackley Improved, which qualified him for this match and the 3K Match.
Everyone was running out of ammo, so no match 2 winner. We will finish match 2 after the conclusion of the 3K Match in April, so bring plenty of ammo.
I fired 30+ rounds without a single hit.
Next month is the annual 3K Match so we have a few weeks to dial our equipment in.
