Even though I can load 9mm and 38 special for less money, it takes time. And time is far more valuable. If it takes me 2 hours to set up and load a thousand rounds on my Dillon and it saves me 40 bucks, I may as well have just bought the ammo. At current prices, 9mm and 223 aren't worth loading, even though I have components available for tens of thousands. Time is important and I want more of it.

...and sometimes I just want to blast through a couple hundred rounds of centerline lever gun shooting without having to worry about making more ammo. ๐Ÿ˜„

With a smooth thread protector (or cut thr threads and recrown) this would probably be legal for cowboy action. Combined with a pair of 9mm SAA clones and a shotgun and you have a complete rig with cheap to load ammo. If you also shoot other gun games with, say, a 2011; you now need only a single progressive with a single set of dies, a single primer, a single type of brass, two different bullets and probably two different propellants.
