URSA January 18th Match Results
We had a good bunch of shooters out on Sunday and a big welcome aboard for first timer Anthony!
The weather was nice and we got off to a great start with everyone but yours truly qualifying for the match.
When the shooting stopped Calshipbuilder shooting a 33XC took home the win.
Rickyracer87 beat his fiance Amanda in a shoot off for runner up. He was also shooting a 33XC.
With the nice weather and everybody wanting to shoot we held a second match and Calshipbuilder and Amanda took it out to 2600 yards with Calshipbuilder taking the win and Amanda placing as runner up. Amanda was shooting a 338 Lapua Ackley Improved and qualified for the April 3K Match. Great shooting Amanda!!!
We had some really nice hightech thermal imaging on the line thanks to shooter Dogtown. We could see the hot bullets lying on the ground until they cooled off.
Lots of shooters getting 5 or more hits and even I managed to qualify for the April 3K Match using one of my 510 DTC rifles as did Anono01
