Further: No Ghost Ring sights, No ability (without a good gunsmith) to mount an IER optic, if barrel is over 16” not for me.

It's certainly strange to see a lever gun without a tubular magazine and an exposed hammer.

My Savage 99F in .308 is a tack driver, very clean & old platform, from the turn of the twentieth century, no exposed hammer, rotary mag. I'd like to add lever or bolt gun in 5.56. to the heap. PAX
