Yeah, it's really a 1000+ yard cartridge, true, but it sure is cool. That's a lot of power, there.

It's hard for me to understand how other folks don't understand it's just fun! Same as shooting big bore handguns like the 500!

If you wear 2 sets of ear pro, like you should at any indoor range, it doesn't feel any louder than anything else you're already going to run across.

Yeah, I'd say it's like shooting a hot 12ga 00Buck round, not nearly as bad as expected. I'd imagine the gnarly brake has something to do with that

My 7.5" AR pistol would clear the range with a 25 cent Federal .223. Shoot that first, clear the lanes and enjoy the empty range.
