URSA 2000 Yard Match
Shooters the local deer season is now over so it's time to get back to shooting.
We will hold our next match the 3rd sunday of October the 20th. The match will be held 3 miles west of the highglade Lookout and all distances will be shot from the same shooting location. We will go hot as close to 8 am as is possible and the only reason we cancel a match is for rain.
Bring a minimum of 60 rounds as we generally shoot 2 matches per day
This is also a qualification Match for the April 2025 3K match so keep shooting until you get 5 hits.
Any legal rifle and any safe shooting position is allowed. We have no bipod weight or barrel restrictions so bring anything innovative as long as it's safe. No Fees and no pit duty!! Just show up and shoot.
Sign-ups are all done online at www.unlimitedrange.org and we don't want your full address just the city and state. I think we are the only unlimited range shooting opportunity in California so don't miss out. We will have 4 gongs up at 2147 yards 2600 yards 3311 yards and 3720 yards. The gongs will all have hit indicator lights on them and cameras will also be used to spot and call your shots.
This is very remote shooting done 8 miles from civilization so bring anything you need with you.
The match rules are all posted online and most shooters will find them easy to follow. If you have any questions just ask and we will get you an answer. Bring eye and ear protection.
