I have a chance to buy a Henry Big Boy in 45 Colt. It is the version with the 16.5" barrel and large loop.
Do any of you guys have any experience with 45 Colt Henrys with regards to their accuracy? I have done many, many Google searches on the subject. Youtube videos are scarce and the ones I have found don't inspire a lot of confidence. 5 and 6" groups at 50 yards, stuff like that.
I am a Marlin guy but used Marlins in 45 Colt are not as common as they once were. I have owned a Henry in the past but it was a 357 mag. I was more or less happy with the way it shot.
What are your experiences, good bad and ugly?
Thanks in advance.
