I'd love to see this in 45LC , walnut stock, blued and forget the rail

The .357 model is scheduled to be released in a few months.

I feel the lever gun has gone right down the $#itter with Dark, laminated and SS. Ruger has done a spectacular job building Marlin's. I'd just like to see more walnut and blue . JMWO of course.

The .357's are already out. Saw one at the Camarillo Gun Store last Wednesday. $1300.

Fortunately 45 colt models used are some of the most reasonably priced. I keep considering picking up an old cowboy carbine, walnut straight stock and blued is my general preference (although I have a ruglin 1895 trapper as well, and it’s very nice).

I suspect if there is a ruglin 45 colt model(and I some point I think it’s likely) it will be walnut/blued (it would make the most sense), but it’s a much smaller market than 357 or 44 so likely to be a substantial wait.especially since ruger has been scaling back their number of models in production lately to meet overall demand. Case in point, the 45 colt redhawk is currently not being produced.

After owning a RuMar Trapper, and a previous Marlin 1894, I will never go back. The RuMar as you know is a keeper.
No comment on the other. Already done that.

I can?t blame you there. I have a nice remlin as well (the exact config golfish is looking for in 357) but it?s not the only remlin 1894 I had bought and it?s the only one I kept. Currently getting it converted to a takedown, should be back in a couple weeks. I did opt for a scout rail on it (if my eyes get any worse an optic might become necessary), but otherwise maintaining a very traditional look.

I don't see it listed on their site, just the 44. If you saw one then they must be out. Good news

Bought one yesterday for 1,170. + tax, they had another in .44 RM for the same money that was as nice as the .357 I bought. The 44 had a inch or two longer barrel. I had looked at 3 of the .357s over the last 3 weeks in other stores and this was the best I'd seen. It pairs with my Colt King Cobra 3 inch and the 4 inch target model.

I'd love to get another 1894 csbl. The one I bought didn't shoot well and was canted. If Ruger makes them again I'll almost for sure buy one. I like the stainless laminate look for some reason.
