    Triggertech Diamond

Hello all, need some assistance here i have a Remington 700 action and bolt getting trued from Spartan Rifle. Had a Timney trigger on it before, took that out. As its being worked on by Spartan Rifle I ordered a Triggertech Diamond with out Bolt Release. My problem is when I sold my Timney trigger I sold everything that came on it lol. So I don't even have the trigger pins. (Thought triggertech came with it)

Can I make it this work? With the diamond without the bolt release? Any input helps appreciate yall.

    You should ask Spartan.

Most likely need a trigger with bolt release.
The trigger tech diamond are really smooth.
    Have them on three rifles.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.
    I'm Back.

        Search around youtube.

I heard it isnt hard to release the bolt once you see how.

The diamond is better than the other models- it goes to a lower pull.

Without the bolt release, the problem isn't releasing the bolt, it's keeping it in the action that is the problem.

Depends on what you're using the rifle for and what pull weight you are used to.

OP: you could get around the bolt release issue by having Spartan install a rocker type release in the action body. It's less finicky and more robust than the standard 700 type release.

Thanks for all the responses. I ended up returning the trigger and will get the correct trigger tech for it. This will just be bench rest shooting for now. Not in competition yet lol

Why not get a Rem 700 and leave it stock so you will have something reliable. And then buy a second Rem 700 and a parking pass discount card to 'Harbor Fright' where all precision rifle tools are sold.

Put a side bolt release which your rifle is getting worked on.
