Mfg date of Rem 700?

I have an older Remington 700 BDL heavy barreled 22-250 (missing the trigger and btm metal) that I am having difficulty deciphering the manufacture date. I've looked at online resources, but am apparently not smart/caffeinated enough to make sense of the gobbledygook numbering system.

The SN on the action is: 273292

The markings on the left side of the barrel are: 9 K P 30

Cam someone let me know when this was made?

Barrel code of "KP" indicates May of 1967 if I'm understanding the below link correctly......

There do not seem to be any good lists of serial numbers because of the BLACKPOWDER dating code system that remington used going back so far.
Your KP coded 700 is from 1967 with a no-prefix 6 digit serial number or 1995 if it had a D prefix.

Serial number pre-fix letter will get you to the nearest decade.
4,5,6,7 digit serial numbered receivers-'62- early 70's.
A prefix-70's
B prefix-late 70's
C prefix-late 80's
D prefix-mid-late 90's(ISS/J lock Firing pins)
(bolt/safety lever lock cut eliminated from bolt body)
(Bolt handle tempering operation eliminated)
E prefix-millenium(Embellished Mdl 700/ISS/J Lock Firing Pins)
F prefix-mid 2000's
2006-last Classic Mdl 700 rifle chambering(308Win)
2006-introduction of X Mark/X Mark Pro trigger groups
G prefix-2010's

All S/S receiver serial numbers have a prefix letter S
All Titanium receiver serial numbers have a prefix letter TT

All dates are approximate

Rem Custom Shop receiver serial numbers are sequenced w/ a Suffix Letter.
All 40X's are short actions, whether single shot or repeater configuration.

I also found this about no-prefix serial numbers:

Remington 700 (both ADL and BDL models) receiver/actions were produced starting in 1962 with serial number 1000 and ran to serial number 387347 in November of 1968.

I have a 1962 produced 700 and it's a 4 digit serial number.
I think your KP coded 700 is probably from 1995 with a 6 digit serial number.

It's been in my family since 1972...so it must pre-date that.
