Scope Rail for new Savage 110 ?

Got a new Savage 110 Hunter .223 coming.
I need a rail for it.
However, not sure which mount to order because there is apparently 2 sizes of screws.
    6-48 and 8-48

    Anyone able to help?

Your gonna have to wait till you get it.
Some of my Savage magnums have the bigger screw size.
All of my short actions have the 6-48.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Sure it doesn't come with one? A lot of Savages do.

Savages in .30-06 and .308 Win use 6x48. I'm therefore assuming that the .223 Rem version would as well.

Called Savage and was told all the 110's since 2020 are drilled 8-40
I ordered the EGW Hunter rail.
It comes with 6-48 and 8-40 screws.

Well it appears the Savage people don't know screw sizes.
They said all 110's since 2020 are tapped 8x40.
I just installed bases on two new 110's of different models and both are 6x48
Good thing I ordered EGW bases with both scew sizes.
